Vision

SPNIWCD is to be seen as an Institute of Global repute in child rights, child protection and child development.

Mission

To act as a think tank, catalyst, and inventor of child rights, child protection, and child development programs by pursuing capacity building of child development functionaries, research and evaluation, networking, consultancy, and advisory services, as well as provision of specialized services through interdisciplinary teams.

Objective

To develop and promote voluntary action in social development;
Take a comprehensive view of child development and to develop and promote programmes in pursuance of the National Policy for Children;
To develop measures for coordination of governmental and voluntary action in social development; and
To evolve framework and perspective for organising children's programmes through governmental and voluntary efforts.
