It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the World Wide Web of the Savitribai Phule National Institute of Women and Child Development (SPNIWCD), an Autonomous Institute under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.

Under the able guidance of Smt. Annpurna Devi, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, WCD, SPNIWCD is undertaking steps for strategic reforms in order to meet the diverse needs of women and children across the country in a fast changing social milieu. We are thus reorganizing our competencies for transformative solutions keeping in view the changes ushered in policies, legislations, programmes and the revolution of information communication technology to secure long-term success.

The Website gives you a glimpse of the activities and highlights our contributions, achievements and future aspirations towards delivering quality systems in Training, Counselling Services and Research in the areas of topical concern related to Women and Child Development through its Headquarters in New Delhi and its Six Regional Centres across the Country.
