Library & Editorial & Publication Unit

The Institute has a full-fledged Library where in there are collection of books on various issues related to Women and Children. The library has a dedicated section for reference books and Hindi. The library of the Institute also subscribes to various International and National Journals. Library provides comfortable reading room to readers where in scholars, academicians, interns and students from other Universities also come to do reference work. The wide collection of books cater to the academic needs of students from many specializations like social work, psychology, women studies, gender studies, public health and nutrition etc. Library has collection of 24,500 Books, 19 Newspapers, Subscription to 11 International Journals & 25 National Journals and 31 Hindi Magazines.

The library also has a store house of information related to Women and Children. The documents have been classified as per the taxonomy under various fields like Statistics, Policies, Programmes, Education, Health and Nutrition etc. Documents in the library also includes training modules, workshop/ seminar reports/ research tools, IEC material, guidelines etc. related to women and children can be accessed.
