Through its Child Protection Vertical, NIPCCD strives to create a protective environment where every child can grow, thrive, and realize their full potential. By addressing the multifaceted challenges facing children in India, it plays a critical role in shaping a brighter future for the nation's youth.

The Child Protection vertical focuses on preventing and responding to various forms of abuse, exploitation, and neglect. Through research, training, and policy advocacy, NIPCCD works to strengthen child protection systems, empower caregivers and communities, and raise awareness about children's rights and protection measures. As part of its mission, Child Protection Vertical focuses on implementing various schemes and initiatives aimed at addressing the diverse needs of children across the country. This vertical conducts training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns to educate stakeholders about child rights and empower communities to take action against child abuse, exploitation, and neglect. It also undertakes research studies and policy analysis to inform evidence-based decision-making and advocate for the development and implementation of effective child protection policies and programs at both the national and international level.
